A late 19th century gold, amethyst, split and and seed pearl brooch. The circular-shape amethyst, within a split pearl trefoil and spiral bar surround, to the seed pearl scalloped border. Diameter 3.2cms. Weight 12.2gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Replacement surmount loop.
- General light discolouration.
- Wear to the amethyst mount, claws worn/broken, may require attention.
- Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
- Amethyst medium purple hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions and few, very small nicks.
