A late Victorian 12ct gold diamond convertible pendant brooch, circa 1880. The circular-cut diamond collet, within a similarly-cut diamond double halo surround, to the detachable old-cut diamond line surmount and later platinum chain. Principal diamond estimated weight 1ct. Estimated total diamond weight 5cts, I-K colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Length of brooch 2.8cms. Length of chain 41cms. Total weight 10gms. With fitted case.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
- The front settings of the piece is 9t gold and the reverse is 12ct.
- Principal diamond has a fine surface reaching fracture under the table facet.
- Silver has areas of discolouration, typical of age.
- The diamonds are bright, with small light and dark inclusions, some visible without magnification.
