Condition Report
An early 20th century gold turquoise and split pearl caduceus brooch. The circular turquoise cabochon and split pearl entwined snakes, with similarly-set wings surmount, to the knife-edge staff with graduated seed pearl terminals. Length 5.2cms. Weight 5.8gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Pin with dents.
- Jeweller-type scratch marks to reverse.
- Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
- Split pearls well matched, some with slight wear to the outer nacre layers.
- Turquoise are a well matche3d slightly greenish blue hue, some of the smaller turquoise discoloured to a green hue.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
