Condition Report
A mid 19th century gold enamel and split pearl locket brooch. Of oval outline, the split pearl star and enamel panel, opening to reveal a miniature painting of a boy in period dress, to the guilloche enamel and hair glazed reverse. Length 6.3cms. Total weight 48.8gms. With case.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Small areas of repair, to include soft solder.
- Small worn areas the the top and bottom sections, some have been filled with soft solder.
- Split pearls with light nacre damage.
- Blue enamel in overall good condition with light scratches an nibbles.
- Inner frame of portrait worn to the top and bottom.
