A gem-set novelty brooch. Designed as a butterfly, with oval opal cabochon and circular-shape ruby body, to the rose-cut diamond and oval-shape sapphire wings. Length 4.7cms. Weight 9gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches/wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
- Diamonds bright, some are chipped.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.
- Stones in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
- Stamped 585 to the clasp, small section of clasp grip deficient.
