A sapphire and diamond bracelet.

Condition Report

A sapphire and diamond bracelet. Comprising six circular-shape sapphires and four old-cut diamond collets, with similarly-cut diamond oval-shape link spacers, to the push-piece clasp. Estimated total diamond weight 3.50 to 4cts. Principal diamond estimated H-I colour, VS clarity. Length 17.3cms. Weight 15.2gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamond fairly well matched.
  • Diamonds bright and lively.

  • Diamond weight estimated within the limitations of the setting.
  • Links designed with millegrain setting.
  • Sapphires are not well matched for size.
  • Sapphires are probable replacements for diamonds.
  • Sapphires medium slightly greenish-blue, fairly well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • Sapphire collets have visible repair work, where stones have been replaced. Millegrain is more worn on these collets.
  • Push-piece clasp in good working order.
  • Fitted with safety clasp.
