Condition Report

A wax filled enamel and gem-set necklace and bracelet. The necklace designed as a fabric cord, suspending a series of vari-shape ruby cabochon, freshwater pearl and gem-set drops, with floral enamel reverse, together with a similarly designed foil-back quartz bracelet. Length of necklace 63cms. Length of bracelet 19cms.

  • Overall condition fair to poor. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Significant inclusions to some gemstones, surface reaching inclusions and damage.
  • Some chips and areas of damage to the enamel.
  • Blisters and imperfections to the cultured pearls.
  • Thread is faded and damaged in places.
  • One link is deficient from the bracelet.
  • Coiled wire has started to unwrap and damage to the thread and fabric.
  • Weight 75.1gms.
