Two late Victorian diamond brooches.

Condition Report

Two late Victorian silver and gold, diamond brooches. The first designed as a blister pearl within a rose-cut diamond surround, the second designed as a rose-cut diamond floral spay. Lengths 2 and 4cms. Total weight 16.5gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Most of metal content is silver.
  • Blister pearl brooch converted from a clasp.
  • Pin possible later replacement or repair has been carried out to floral spray brooch.
  • Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.
