Two diamond and ruby rings. To include an early 20th century old-cut diamond line ring, together with a mid 20th century synthetic ruby and diamond double line ring with replacement Edwardian band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.65ct. Replacement band with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1901. Total weight 7.7gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Ruby and diamond ring, originally separate later joined together.
- Synthetic rubies medium red, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.
- Diamonds well matched to each ring.
- Diamonds bright.
- Light and dark inclusions can be seen easily to many diamonds under magnification.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Stones in fair to poor condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges, the rubies show significant abrasion.
- Birmingham hallmarks are for 18ct gold.
