Condition Report

An early 20th century 9ct gold Albert chain and medallion. The Albert designed as a graduated series of curb-links, with clasp terminals, suspending a T-bar and an enamel sporting medallion. Medallion with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1923. Length of chain 40.5cms. Length of fob 7cms. Weight 42.5gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Each link of the chain marked .9 .375.

  • Medallion with worn personalised engraving to the reverse which reads 'Division 2 1927 F. Pearson.'

  • Front of medallion reads 'Old Hill C.C. B'Ham & Dist. League champions', enamel damaged with some portions deficient.
