Condition Report

Four 9ct gold diamond and gem-set rings. To include two emerald and sapphire three-stone rings, each with single-cut diamond asymmetric shoulders, together with two further rings. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 8.6gms

  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamond fairly well matched.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Ruby medium red, moderate to poor saturation, with profuse inclusions that affect the passage of light through the stone.

  • Sapphire medium dark blue, moderate to poor saturation, with profuse inclusions that affect the passage of light through the stone.

  • Emerald medium green, fairly well saturated, with poor clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
