Condition Report

A natural pearl and diamond pendant. Modelled as an acorn, the drop-shape natural pearl, with single-cut diamond cap, suspended from brilliant-cut diamond leaves and integral trace-link chain. Accompanied by report number 20015146, dated 11th March 2014 from Anchorcert, stating that the pearl is natural. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct. Length of pendant 3.9cms. Length of chain 43cms. Weight 7.6gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Please see report for details of the pearl.
  • The diamond-set section is antique, with later chain.
  • Soft solder marks to reverse of the pendant
  • Localised scratching and discolouration in places to the reverse of the pendant.

  • Diamonds on natural pearl cap have a brownish-orangish hue.

  • Other diamonds with inclusions visible with magnification.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
