Condition Report
Two snake brooches. The first designed as a coiled snake with opal crest and garnet eyes suspending a turquoise heart, the second designed as a turquoise and engraved snake head, converted from a clasp. Lengths 3.3 and 4cms. Total weight 7.4gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Onje turquoise deficient to the snake head, further turquoise chipped.
- Splits and holes from originial fittings remain.
- Later base metal brooch fittings with some discolouration.
- Possible replacement gems.
- Opal shows good play of colour, some slight dead zones.
