A George III mug.

Condition Report

A George III silver mug, the baluster form stood on a circular stepped foot and with foliate scroll capped handle. Hallmarked London 1794 with the maker's mark WB. Height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm), weight 10.4 ozt (325 grams).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A little misshapen. The mug looks to have been glued onto a further base and reside remains on the underside and would require attention, this also distort the hallmarks. Solder repair to the join of the handle. Minor dents.
