An 18ct gold, seed pearl and enamel brooch.

Description

Condition Report

An 18ct gold, seed pearl and enamel brooch. Designed as two polychrome enamel birds, with seed pearl eggs and bi-colour nest, nestled amongst a ruby floral highlight frond. Import marks for London, 1961. Length 5cms. Weight 10.9gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/ wear, slight discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Seed pearl eggs show glue visible. Well matched, fair lustre.
  • Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
  • Ruby is a pinkish red hue. Surface reaching inclusions.
