A early Victorian onyx, split pearl, diamond and enamel mourning brooch. The oval shape brooch with foliate surround, a black enamel border and a carved onyx panel depicting a flower, with central diamond and a split pearl border, to the vacant recess at the reverse, with glass deficient and personal inscription. Length 3.6cms. Weight 9.8gms.

Purchasing information-
The condition of this lot is fair. The recess to the back of the is empty and has no glass where originally there would have been glass present. The inscription to the reverse reads 'Mrs Moseley Obt Oct 16th 1839 Aged 94' and the engraving has been quite worn.
