A George V novelty silver napkin ring modelled in the form of a duck.

Condition Report

A George V novelty silver napkin ring modelled in the form of a duck, the arched body with engraved personal inscription, missing one red glass eye. Hallmarked Crisford & Norris Ltd., Birmingham 1913. Maximum width measures 8.2 cm, weight 35 grams.

Purchasing information
    In fair to good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. One of the red glass eyes is missing. Minor dent to the top of the duck's head. The body is engraved with the personal inscription 'Madeline 25.12.39 Xmas.' Heavier tarnishing around the head and tail with a surface mark across the length of the interior of the napkin ring. Maker's mark is partly obscured but still just legible, some scratched numbers visible below the hallmarks.
