Condition Report

A matched pair of Art Nouveau silver mounted photograph frames, the circular aperture with square surround embellished with sinuous lines upon a 'basket weave' background leading to a vacant cartouche and later added cold enamel accents in green and blue to the floral motifs, mounted on a replacement oak easel reverse. Hallmarked W J Myatt & Co., Birmingham 1903 and Boots Pure Drug Company, Chester 1907. Height measuring 4 2/8 inches (11 cm).

Purchasing information
    In refurbished condition. Displaying light general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Replacement pins (one missing). No personal engravings. The enamel appears to be cold painted enamel, not vitreous enamel. Some minor splits and dents to the silver surround. Small chip to the corner of the glass which is hidden behind the surround. Hallmarks clear and legible.
