A pair of George III silver asparagus tongs of typical form. Hallmarked assumed London 1804, maker's mark worn. Length measuring 11 3/8 inches (29 cm), weight 6.1 ozt (189.8 grams).

Purchasing information
    The tongs appear in good overall condition, displaying some general tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Some minor surface nicks or small gouges. The spring function of the mobile arm appears in good working order. Hallmarks with minor rubbing but still clearly legible, maker's mark very worn and illegible, possibly ?B.
