Condition Report
An Art Deco style table silver mounted cigarette box, of rounded oblong form with engine-turned hinged lid, opening to reveal a silver-gilt interior with an engraved personal inscription, the whole raised upon a Bakelite plinth base. Hallmarked Dyas Beverley Hampton, London 1947. Width measures 6 2/8 inches (16 cm).

Purchasing information-
In fair to good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. MInor bumps and dents to the rounded edges which have heavier areas of tarnishing. The interior has dirt residue and multiple contact marks to the silver-gilt. The engraved inscription reads 'To Jean & Tony with best wishes from Claire? & Percy 3-4-48'. Minor chip to one corner of the Bakelite base. Hallmarks clear and legible.
