An unusual Mettlach (Villeroy & Boch) stoneware novelty flagon or ewer. The neck and handle modelled as a dragon or similar beast, resting upon a spherical body with enamelled cluster decoration, the stepped foot with coiled dragon tail, impressed beneath METTLACH GESCHUTZT 2017 93, 12.5", (32cm) high.
