Condition Report

A late Victorian gem-set bangle. The foil-back garnet and red paste floral cluster and sides, atop the pave-set red paste hinged-bangle. Inner diameter 5.8cms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Due to closed back setting garnets are believed to be foil-back garnets.
  • Foil-back garnets and red paste are a deep red.

  • Foil-back garnets and red paste are in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Width at widest 2cms.
  • With safety chain.
