A turquoise and diamond hinged bangle.

Condition Report

A turquoise and diamond hinged bangle. The oval turquoise cabochon and brilliant-cut diamond cluster, with similarly-set floral sides and single-cut diamond stylised knot surround. Signed E. Piccini. Estimated total diamond weight 6.50 to 7cts. Inner diameter 5.7cms. Weight 59.6gms.

  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds bright and well matched.

  • Some gems possible replacements.

  • Diamonds of overall good clarity, most with small inclusions, visible under magnification only.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Turquoise medium greenish blue to light blue hue, with moderate surface scratches and wear.

  • Principal turquoise with noticeable matrix veining to the back of the cabochon.

  • Back half-bangle is plain.

  • Stamped 750.
