Condition Report
A mid 20th century diamond gem-set brooch. Of openwork design, the textured foliate crescent, with single-cut diamond scroll supporting interchangeable lapis lazuli, tiger's-eye and grooved coral drop. AF. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Length 7cms. Total weight 81.4gms. Coral untested.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Two of the diamonds are deficient, with breaks along the corrosponding mounts.
- Diamonds fairly bright and well matched.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Lapis lazuli untested for natural colour origin.
- Lapis lazuli is a moddled deep blue hue with flecks of pyrite.
- Coral untested for natural colour origin.
- Coral is a slightly orangey pink hue, one half mottled with white and slightly discoloured areas.
- Length of gem sections (excluding the screw threads but including the mounts) 2.9 to 3.1cms.
- Stamped 750.
