A late Victorian silver and gold, ruby and diamond brooch. Of sunburst design, the circular-shape ruby and old-cut diamond cluster, with similarly-set rays. Estimated total diamond weight 0.80ct. Length 6cms. Weight 13gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Brooch pin is bent slightly out of shape, catch may require attention.
- Diamonds fairly well matched.
- Diamonds fairly bright.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Rubies are a medium red, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Rubies in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
