A 1930's travelling vanity set, comprising a silver mounted tortoiseshell hand mirror, hair brush, clothes brush and comb, a silver mounted and tortoiseshell lidded vanity pot, a silver mounted and tortoiseshell screw top scent bottle, two circular cut-glass pots with tortoiseshell covers, an oblong pot with tortoiseshell cover, a pair of tortoiseshell glove stretchers (A/F), a dual silver button hook and shoe horn, a cork lined silver mounted tortoiseshell lid, hallmarked William Comyns & Sons Ltd., London 1935, button hook/shoe horn dated 1934, scent bottle hallmarked Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1938, all fitted within a large crocodile skin initialled suitcase and material cover, case length measures 19 7/8 inches (50.7 cm). Together with an oblong hinged tortoiseshell box, hallmarked London 1935, a further oblong tortoiseshell hinged box, a silver mounted and tortoiseshell travelling pocket watch case, Birmingham 1918, a fold out initialled leather writing set case and a modern gent's cased vanity set.
