An Edwardian silver cream jug.

Condition Report

An Edwardian silver cream jug, of bellied form with applied shell rim border leading to a leaf capped scroll handle, the lower body with embossed floral decoration and scalework surrounding twin opposed cartouche, the whole raised upon four stylised feet. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Sheffield 1905. Maximum height measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), weight 9.7 ozt (304.2 grams).

Purchasing information
    In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor loss of definition and bumps to the embossed decoration and scalework. No personal engravings to the cartouches. Hallmarks clear and legible, further marked 'Mappin & Webb London' beneath the base.
