Condition Report

A modern condiment set, caster and pair of candlesticks by Robert Welch, the condiment set comprising pepper, salt and lidded mustard complete with clear glass liner and spoon, each piece of plain hour glass form. Hallmarked Robert Welch, London 1973, 1974, 1975 and Birmingham 1973. Gross silver weight 34.8 ozt (1085 grams). (6).

Purchasing information
    In good overall condition although a little variance in condition across the pieces. All displaying general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The caster, salt and pepper have bayonet fixtures, these also with areas of heavier tarnishing. The detachable bases to the salt and pepper have some dents to the bayonet fixtures. The mustard with a shallow dent, the gilding to the interior worn, the glass liner with minor chips to the edge and some heavier scratches to the inner lid. The 'paddle' spoon with minor nibbles to the bowl edge. Hallmarks clear and legible, but worn to the pepper, the pepper is also the only piece with a Birmingham hallmark. No visible personal engravings.
