A Victorian silver four piece silver tea service.

Condition Report

An early Victorian silver four piece tea service comprising coffee pot, teapot, twin-handled sucrier and a cream jug, each of bulbous form to a footed base, with scrolling rims above floral and scroll engraved panels to the main body, domed and hinged lids to the tea and coffee pots and all with double scroll handles. Hallmarked John Angell II & George Angell, London 1848. Maximum height of coffee pot to finial measuring 11 3/8 inches (29 cm), weight 76.92 ozt (2392 grams).

Purchasing information
    All pieces are heavily tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish. Displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches. Some visible seam lines. Some cracks/ splits visible around foot rims and some small repairs. Hinged lid of teapot appears in good working order. Lid of coffee pot with slight movement and fixing pin sticking out on one side. All hallmarked to underside and clearly legible, and part hallmarks to lids.
