Condition Report
An Edwardian platinum and 12ct gold, seed pearl and diamond floral brooch. The seed pearl, with rose and single-cut diamond pierced lattice petal surround. Diameter 2.5cms. Weight 4.8gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Replacement pin with hallmarks for 9ct gold.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Diamonds bright.
- Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight estimation and colour and clarity assessment.
- Diamonds with light inclusions, some surface reaching. Some with small chips.
- Seed pearl untested for natural origin.
- Seed pearl is a creamy white colour with rose and greenish overtones.
- Seed pearl in good condition with minor abrasions and some uneven surface features.
- Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
