KUTCHINKSY - a 1960s diamond, sapphire and turquoise brooch. Designed as a textured bow, with circular-shape sapphire and brilliant-cut diamond clusters atop pave-set turquoise accents. Maker's marks for Kutchinsky. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct, principal diamond estimated H-I colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1966. Length 6.9cms. Weight 29.1gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

- Diamonds well matched and bright.
- Principal diamond assessed within the limitations of the setting, grades may differ.
- Principal diamond estimated weight 0.25ct.
- Individual size and setting of non-principal diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Diamonds have few, minor inclusions.
- Turquoise are a fairly well matched slightly mottled light medium to medium deep blue hues.
- Turquoises in good condition.
- Sapphires are well matched, deep, violetish blue hue.
- Sapphires in good condition with small nicks and nibbles. Some with surface reaching feather inclusions.
