Condition Report

An Edwardian platinum diamond pendant. Of openwork design, the five circular-cut diamond collets, suspended within a rose-cut diamond stylised foliate lattice, to the rose-cut diamond bow surmount and later trace-link chain. Estimated total circular-cut diamond weight 1.75cts, H-I colour, VS2-SI2 clarity. Length of pendant 4.3cms. Length of chain 58cms. Total weight 13.3gms. With case.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches and very minor dents in keeping with minimal wear.
  • Diamonds fairly well matched, one principal diamond may be slightly better colour.
  • Principal diamond estimated weight 0.70ct.
  • Principal diamonds with varied levels of inclusions, majority with few, small inclusions visible under 10x.
  • Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.

  • One rose-cut diamond noticeably chipped.
  • Pendant with screw threads to reverse.
