Condition Report

An aquamarine and diamond pendant. The pear-shape aquamarine, with brilliant-cut diamond surround, suspended from a similarly-cut diamond tapered surmount. Estimated dimensions of aquamarine 19 by 13 by 9.6mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.80ct. Length 3.2cms. Weight 6.9gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds fairly well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Some diamonds drawing slightly more tint than others, one diamond tinted brown.
  • Diamonds with varied inclusions.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Aquamarine is a deep medium blue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Aquamarine is in fairly good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
