A pair of platinum and gold, sapphire and diamond earrings.

Description

Condition Report

A pair of platinum and gold, sapphire and diamond earrings. Each designed as a grooved sapphire bead, suspended from a pave-set diamond trefoil surmount and similarly-set marquise-shape spacer. Total sapphire weight 13.68cts. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. French assay marks. Length 2.5cms. Weight 5gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds fairly well matched. Appears to be a mix of old and single-cut diamonds.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds with some small inclusions under 10x magnification.
  • Sapphires are a well matched medium slightly violetish blue hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Sapphires in fair condition with some abrasions and nicks.

  • With fixed post fittings for pierced ears.
  • French assay marks for platinum and 9ct gold.
