A late Victorian silver and gold, blue spinel and rose-cut diamond double heart brooch. Spinel total calculated weight 2.05cts, based on estimated dimensions. Length 2.2cms. 5.2gms.

  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight estimation and colour and clarity assessment.

  • Some rose-cut diamonds with typical small chips, nicks and crystal surface features. Generally with few inclusions.
  • Spinels are a well matched deep blue hue, with violet tones, well saturated, with good clarity.

  • Spinels in good condition with light nicks and abrasions.

  • Left spinel: Calculated weight 0.94cts, based on estimated dimensions of 6.5 by 5.9 by 3.5mms. Right spinel: Calculated weight 1.11cts, based on estimated dimensions of 6.4 by 6.2 by 4mms.
