A George III silver cream jug, plus a Victorian silver sugar basket & a continental spoon. (3).

Description

Condition Report

A George III silver cream jug, of plain form with flat topped curved handle and raised upon four ball feet, hallmarked 1810, makers mark worn and indistinct. Together with a Victorian silver pedestal sugar basket of oval form with swing handle, hallmarked London, date letter worn possibly 1874, maker's mark worn and indistinct, and a continental spoon with foliate stem. Gross weight 12.65 ozt (393.5 cm). (3).

Purchasing information
    With scratches, marks, wear and heavy tarnishing. Milk jug with visible solder repairs to top and base of handle and along visible seam, and further solder repairs to feet. Feet with some compression and jug slightly unsteady. Lip appears misshapen and body with a number of knocks to one area. Sugar basket with knocks to base, and unsteady as a result. Swing handle bent and mishapen. Spoon with heavy wear to decoration and some losses to edges. Visible solder repair to stem.
