Condition Report

A 1970's 18ct gold emerald and diamond cluster ring. Emerald calculated weight 2.42cts, based on estimated dimensions of 9.3 by 7.6 by 4.2mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1.25cts, predominantly I-J colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1977. Ring size Q. 7.1gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds are fairly well matched. A few appear to draw a slight yellowish hue.
  • Diamonds are bright and lively. One with surface reaching indent to table. One with small nick to table.
  • Emerald is a light green hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
  • Emerald in good to fair condition, with abrasions and an eye visible natural indent to the side of the crown.
