Condition Report

JAEGER-LECOULTRE - a gentleman's Master Control wrist watch. 18ct rose gold case. Reference 140.2.89, serial 0689. Signed automatic calibre 889/2 with quick date set, numbered 2733262. Silvered dial with spearhead hour markers, Arabic numeral six, nine and twelve, date aperture to three. Fitted to an unsigned bi-colour leather strap with signed rose metal deployant clasp stamped 750. 37mm. Box.

  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. There appears to be a tiny hair caught near the 6 o'clock hour marker.
  • Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.
  • Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows light scratches and marks.
  • Crown has light scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Strap shows marks and creasing.
  • Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

    This lot comes with a box showing very light wear but no papers.
