An early 20th century gold sapphire and old-cut diamond five-stone ring. Sapphire total calculated weight 1ct, based on estimated dimensions. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct, I-J colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Ring size Q. 3.5gms.

  • Overall condition good. General light marks and wear in keeping with age. Some wear to the claws.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright and lively.

  • Sapphires are a fairly vibrant, medium slightly violet blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity.

  • Sapphires in good condition with some small nicks and abrasions, generally near the girdles.

  • Sapphire calculated weights: 0.43cts, based on estimated dimensions of 4.5 by 4 by 2.6mms, 0.28ct, based on estimated dimensions of 4.2 by 3.7 by 2.2mms and 0.29ct, based on estimated dimensions of 4.2 by 3.8 by 2.2mms
