Condition Report

BREITLING - a Windrider Crosswind Special chronograph bracelet watch. Stainless steel case with calibrated bezel. Case width 43mm. Reference A44355, serial 487260. Signed automatic calibre B44 with quick date set. Blue dial with baton hour markers, subsidiary silvered recorder dials to three, six and nine, split date aperture to twelve. Fitted to a signed stainless steel Pilot bracelet with folding clasp. Box and papers.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning. The chronograph counts one minute, but the hour counter has not been tested due to time constraints. However the date change appears to be at fault with the date currently stuck at 20. Will require attention.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.
  • Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case appears to be in good condition with minor scratches and marks. Rotating bezel rotates.
  • Crown shows noticeable dinting.
  • Bracelet has light scratches and some signs of light stretching to links.
  • Clasp is currently functioning and shows light scratches and marks.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 19.5cm including case.

    This lot comes with a box and papers dated 20/5/2003. Outer box has general wear and the hinge is broken and detached to the inner box. A spare link is included.
