Condition Report

ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster bracelet watch. Circa 1939. Stainless steel case. Reference 2765, serial 145141. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered "California" dial with luminous hour markers. Fitted to a signed stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Oysterclasp. 31mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye.
  • Refinished dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Hour markers show moderate discolouration and tarnishing.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint.
  • Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Case back does not screw back on properly due to being misshapen on the inside. This will require attention.
  • Crown screws down and has noticeable scratches and dinting.
  • Bracelet has heavy scratches with some signs of stretching and some twisting to links.
  • Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks. Clasp does close but it may not be as secure as expected. This will require attention to tighten the clasp up.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 17cm including case.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
