Condition Report

ROLEX - a gentleman's Prince wrist watch. Stainless steel case. Reference 971, serial 010570. Signed manual wind calibre 271. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with signed stainless steel pin buckle. 23mm. Box.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Dial has been refinished. On the subsidiary seconds dial you can see where the numbers previously were.
  • Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown has noticeable scratches and dinting.
  • Strap shows marks and creasing. Strap is spuriously signed Rolex. We do not believe it to be a genuine Rolex strap.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

    This lot comes with a box in used condition but no papers.

    Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
