Condition Report

An aquamarine and diamond pendant, with 18ct gold chain. Aquamarine calculated weight 21cts, based on estimated dimensions of 23.8 by 15 by 11.1mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct, H-J colour, SI clarity. Chain with hallmarks for London, 2004. Length of pendant 3.5cms. Length of chain 41cms. 14.9gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. General light marks and wear.
  • Diamonds to the trefoil surmount are old-cuts. Diamond to the top of the aquamarine is brilliant-cut. One old-cut diamond with some shallow chips/ cavities on the crown.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Aquamarine is a medium slightly greenish blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and some typical inclusions.

  • Aquamarine has been drilled at the top and had a diamond set.
  • Aquamarine in good condition, with some small chips near the point.

  • Chain with hallmarks for 18ct gold. Pendant tests approximately 16-17ct.
  • Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
  • Fellows does not guarantee the standard of gold or platinum unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.
