A late Victorian silver and gold, sapphire and vari-cut diamond brooch.
May be worn as a pendant.
Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 0.45ct, G-I colour, VS-SI clarity.
Diameter 3cms. 6.1gms.

Purchasing information- General light marks and wear to metal. Claws unevenly worn but secure.
- Jeweller-type scratch marks to brooch fittings.
- Brooch fittings unscrew. Small hinged loop to suspend a surmount, no surmount present.
- One single-cut diamond replacement.
- Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate size, colour and clarity assessment.
- Three diamonds chipped.
- Sapphire is a bright, medium deep blue hue.
- Sapphire with small abrasions to table facet and minor nick to girdle.
- Sapphire approximate diameter 5.1mms.
