A 1940s palladium and gold ruby and pavé-set diamond double clip brooch.
Estimated total diamond weight 4cts, G-I colour, VS2-SI1 clarity.
Length 4cms. 28.1gms.

Purchasing information- General light to moderate marks and wear to the metal.
- Rubies are a medium pinkish red hue, well saturated, with good clarity and some small typical inclusions.
- Rubies generally with minor abrasions, some with small nicks.
- Diamonds appear bright. Some appear slightly below I colour or SI clarity.
- Piece predominantly electronically tests as approximately 85% palladium, the brooch mount testing as approximately 9ct gold.
- Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
