Batman watch limited to 75 pieces to fetch £10,000 at auction

A limited edition Batman watch by Romain Jerome is set to fetch £10,000 at Fellows Auctioneers. The unique timepiece is number 16 of 75 ever created, and features a skeletonised dial, including the iconic Batman logo overlooking a map of Gotham City. The luminous Batman logo shines blue in darkness, further emphasising the theme of the Dark Knight. With an estimate of £6,000 – £8,000, the timepiece is likely to sell for upwards of £10,000 including fees. It features as Lot 177 in Fellows’ Luxury Watch Sale, taking place in Birmingham on Monday 24th August.

A limited edition Batman watch

The gentleman’s bi-material Skylab DNA watch was created by Romain Jerome in 2017, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment. Romain Jerome has become renowned for their series of watches which draw inspiration from comic book or video game characters. Other examples from Romain Jerome have included Spider-Man and Super Mario.

The watch has a bi-material case with an exhibition case back. Reference RJMAU03004, the timepiece is fitted to a signed black rubber strap with a titanium double folding clasp. Measuring 47mm, it is included in Fellows’ August Luxury Watch sale which features 181 alluring timepieces. Other highlights include a Rolex Submariner “MilSub”, estimated at £50,000 – £70,000, and an incredible full set of Dirty Dozen watches, estimated at £25,000 – £35,000. The sale’s viewing days include Birmingham and London.
