An exclusive preview of 4 auctions with drinks and canapés

Fellows were delighted to welcome our friends from the Mayfair & St James’s Association on Wednesday 26th September.

The doors of 29 Charles St were opened up to our friends from the area for an exclusive evening of drinks, delicious canapés and, perhaps more importantly, the chance to learn more about beautiful jewellery watches and handbags throughout the evening.

Our guests were the first people to preview the star lots from our Antique & Modern Jewellery, Designer Collection and The Watch Sale auctions. Highlights of the evening included the James Bond Rolex Submariner watch, a Hermès Togo Birkin handbag and an Andrew Grima ring.

The Fellows London team were able to share their knowledge about the pieces on view. By far, the most talked about item at the event was the Rolex Submariner. This watch is the star lot of The Watch Sale on Tuesday 30th October. The magnificent timepiece – worn by Timothy Dalton’s stunt double during the British spy thriller, Licence to Kill, in 1989 – is estimated at £60,000 – £90,000.

There was also a lot of interest in the collection of 1970s jewellery. Instantly recognisable as a designer, Andrew Grima is renowned for his bold style. The two Grima rings will be available to view on Tuesday 12 noon -7pm. The viewing will be a special event with Carol Joy London. Our specialists will be on hand to help you learn more about jewellery in a relaxed and friendly environment. Stylists from Carol Joy London will be offering complimentary styling and product advice as well as dry styling throughout the day.

Fellows are able to host complimentary events for a range of occasions, from private viewings with lunch to evening talks and previews. If you would like us to organise an event for your friends or colleagues, please get in touch.
