Purchasing information
Overall in good/fair condition, there are general surface scratches and marks, and patches of tarnishing, more so to the detail of the embossed decoration. There are a few small dints here and there. The hinge is in good working order, when the lid is shut it does rise slightly leaving a small gap. To the underside the glass is in a star design, with a few minor marks and chips. The underside of the silver is quite uneven, marked and pitted, there is a split to the seam of the rim on the base and a few signs of repair. The embossing has worn a little therefore in places there is a little loss of detail. The sponsors mark is clear and distinct to the underside of the lid, however the hallmarks are a little distorted, with only the date letter and standard mark visible.
