Edwardian silver mounted inkwell.

Condition Report

Edwardian silver mounted square glass inkwell with hobnail base, the domed hinged lid with initial engraving engraved floral surround and applied scroll border. Hallmarked Birmingham 1905. Height measuring 4 inches (10 cm).

Purchasing information
    The inkwell displays general wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor abrasive nibbles to the corners and edges of the glass. The lid would need attention with the top part not fitted correctly and loose in position. The hallmarks are lightly distorted but easily legible, the makers mark is not legible possibly ?M.
