Condition Report

A selection of three late 19th century gem-set brooches, to include a 9ct gold oval-shape citrine brooch, an oval-shape amethyst brooch and a shell cameo brooch. Lengths 5.1 to 4.3cms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The amethyst surround is discoloured and missing small sections. The citrine brooch has a replacement base metal pin hinge and clasp, with soft solder evident. The shell has numerous fine cracks. Weight of citrine brooch 15.5gms.
